Artists Reflect-
With my tile project, I found a zombie photograph and traced it onto my tile. I had to trace it a couple times to make sure it would fit and would be pleasing to the eye. Next, I started carving and taking chunks out of the clay. I had to step back and take in what I was doing. I started to notice how the background had one level higher than the other, I added more clay to make it somewhat even. Finally, I found it pleasing to me and decided it was completely done and ready to be dried.
Artists Create Original Art-
On my tile project I used a zombie photograph to draw the zombie on my clay tile. Next, I added dimensions to give it the minimum of four levels it needed. I removed clay that would be a level and gave it some dimensions. Then, I broke the frame by extending the zombie's arm and body to the edge of the frame. Lastly, I smoothed out the levels in which I took clay out of.
