My art piece has a shape of a raindrop or teardrop. It's about 6 inches tall. It has four sided shapes attached to the outside of it. The pieces are connected to each other with the line of connection still visible. There are empty spots where there isn't any shapes attached.
The hardest part of this artwork was getting the coiled walls to stay up long enough of for me to attach the additive texture. I had to overcome this problem by letting the artwork dry and harden up a bit. That way I could score and slip the additive texture.
My artwork started out as looking like a turtle shell, but now looks like it's a riverbed with a waterfall down the cracks.
